The gallery exhibits mostly contemporary art and was established in order to provide a stage and to encourage both young and senior artists.

Single artist shows and group exhibitions have been held at the gallery. Over the years, more than 100 Israeli artists have exhibited their works at the gallery, and most of them are represented in this site and contained in the gallery collection.

The gallery has also presented in the past, groups of Israeli artist abroad, mostly in Europe.
